Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Amar Gazipur (আমার গাজীপুর) mobile app and related services (“the app”, “we”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
You must provide accurate information and verify your mobile number via SMS OTP.
You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your credentials secure.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app lawfully and respectfully. You will not:

Post false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or illegal content.
Post spam, scams, or repetitive promotional content.
Impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
Collect or misuse other users’ personal information, including contact details shared in posts.
Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.

3. User-generated content

You retain ownership of content you submit (listings, blood requests, lost & found posts, reviews, comments, images), and you grant us a licence to host, display, and distribute it within the app for the purpose of operating the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.
Content may be reviewed before or after publication and may be removed, and accounts suspended or deleted, if it violates these Terms or applicable law.
You can report objectionable content or users from within the app. We aim to review reports promptly.

4. Blood donation directory

The blood donation feature connects donors and requesters directly. We do not verify medical eligibility, blood group accuracy, or identity beyond mobile verification, and we are not a party to any arrangement between users. Always confirm details independently and follow professional medical guidance before donating or receiving blood.

5. Directory & third-party information

Listings for hospitals, pharmacies, offices, institutions, jobs, and events are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or out of date. Verify important details (addresses, phone numbers, opening hours) with the establishment directly.

6. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information in it is accurate or reliable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, interactions with other users, or reliance on content in the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the platform or violate these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
